About the Role and our Ideal Candidate

A Neighbourhood and Community Ranger is highly visible in the community, they will deal with issues such as;

  • Removing graffiti
  • Cutting back overgrown vegetation
  • Cleaning signage and painting railings
  • Erect gazebos and tables for community events
  • Act as an ambassador for the council

The role is diverse and therefore suitable for somebody with a desire to give back and contribute to lasting change. Willing to foster a sense of belonging by enhancing the environment for communities no matter how large or small. Dealing with problems and willing to work on their own or as a part of a team to reach a solution.
