Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team on a fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Our Barnes White Hart Lane practice is a modern, first-opinion small animal clinic, designed to support a range of clinical interests. With two bright consultation rooms, a spacious reception area, separate dental and surgical suites, digital and dental radiography, in-house lab facilities, and dedicated cat and dog wards, we are fully equipped to deliver outstanding patient care. Advanced anaesthetic and monitoring systems further ensure safety and confidence in every procedure.
This branch is led by a Branch Partner, creating the perfect balance between the robust support of the wider Medivet group and the autonomy of a locally invested leader.
You'll be joining a team of experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses and friendly, knowledgeable Veterinary Receptionists, all working together in a positive and collaborative culture.

Role Accountabilities
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. That's the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.
In this role you will:
Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
Deliver patient monitoring and care.
Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
Dispense and check medication.
Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
