You'll play a key part in the month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity, while also working closely with external auditors and contributing to ongoing process improvements. The Role

Working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Month-end responsibilities including journals, P&L review and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing and reviewing month-end reporting packs
  • Supporting the annual audit process, providing information to auditors and ensuring documentation is accurate and well-organised
  • Ensuring financial controls are followed and identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Providing occasional support across AP/AR during busy periods

This is a role with clear progression and the chance to take ownership of a wide range of financial accounting tasks as the business continues to grow.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in a financial or assistant accounting role with exposure to month-end
  • Confident producing journals and carrying out reconciliations
  • Comfortable working with auditors and supporting statutory reporting
  • Accurate, organised, and eager to take on new responsibilities
  • Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
  • Proactive, curious, and motivated to develop their career

This role suits someone who wants to learn, progress, and eventually take on more ownership across the financial accounting function.
