About Us

We are a nurturing and forward-thinking children's residential service providing high-quality care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Our mission is to create a safe, stable, and supportive environment where young people can grow, develop, and thrive. We are now seeking passionate and resilient Support Workers to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (preferably in residential or EBD settings)
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations
  • Willingness to complete all mandatory training (including safeguarding)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent, nurturing care to young people with EBD
  • Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a positive role model
  • Support young people with daily routines, education, activities, and appointments
  • Promote independence, emotional regulation, and positive coping strategies
  • Keep accurate records, reports, and contribute to care plans
  • Work effectively within a team and follow safeguarding and regulatory procedures
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and homely environment
  • Participate in shift patterns, including evenings and weekends (when necessary)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £21,800.00-£26,571.14 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
