Position: Support Worker Location: Bexleyheath, England, UK Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent Our clientis a leading provider of support services for individuals with diverse needs. They are recruiting fora compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team in Bexleyheath, England. As a Support Worker, your main responsibility will be to provide person-centred care and support to individuals with physical and / or intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges, and / or complex needs. The Support Worker will workclosely with our clients to promote independence, well-being, and community inclusion. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders Provide personal care and support according to individual care plans Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores Support Workers will support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social and recreational activities Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or social well-being Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients' needs are met Maintain accurate and timely records of clients' care and progress Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations Qualifications and Skills Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in social work, psychology, or a related field is an asset Previous experience working with individuals with diverse needs as a Support Worker is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team of Support Workers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude Basic knowledge of health and safety practices Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Our client offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and development opportunities.
