Job Description
About the role
We're looking for a world-class Affiliates Director to drive the next phase of our growth. You'll own the strategy, execution, and double-digit-million-pound budget for our affiliate program across our largest markets and brands. You will lead a team of specialists, build deep partnerships with our top affiliates, oversee the ongoing affiliate platform migration and improve ways of working.

The role requires a balance of commercial acumen, analytical rigour, and relationship-building, alongside strong leadership to develop a high-performing team. You'll work cross-functionally with several teams, e.g. Paid Media, Strategy, Analytics, Product & Tech, ensuring that affiliates remain a key growth engine for Entain while meeting the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.

You will have the resources, data infrastructure, and executive support to build a best-in-class operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the global affiliates strategy across Entain's brands and markets; set objectives, roadmap and governance for sustainable FTD and NGR growth.
  • Manage a P&L & budgets in the double-digit-million-pound range; own the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring spend aligns with planned budgets.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing, multi-market affiliates team; set goals, coach for excellence, and build a strong performance culture.
  • Build and deepen strategic partnerships with affiliates; lead contract negotiations for our biggest global partners and deliver win-win deal structures.
  • Oversee ongoing affiliate platform migration: lead communications & change management, ensuring smooth transition for affiliates and account managers.
  • Continually improve ways of working and tooling (e.g., affiliate platform, payments, approvals); standardise processes across markets.
  • Drive test-and-learn programs (welcome offers, landing pages, copy, creatives, funnels) to improve conversion and customer lifetime value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with several teams, including Paid Media, Brand, CRM, Strategy, Analytics, Product & Tech, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Regional MDs / Country Managers to align plans, share insights, and resolve trade-offs.
  • Prepare and present performance readouts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership; translate data into crisp decisions and actions.

Qualifications
Specialist skills & experience

  • Proven track record in affiliates or performance marketing, including leadership of high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical rigor: fluent with acquisition metrics, incrementality and cohort analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and BI tools (Excel; Power BI/Looker/Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; exceptional relationship builder, and effective at simplifying complex analyses into clear decisions.
  • Growth mindset: designs experiments, moves quickly from insight to action, and continually raises the bar on quality and outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of tracking, attribution, and MarTech foundations (S2S/postbacks, fraud prevention).
  • (Optional but preferred) Understanding of the online gambling affiliate landscape and relationships with top global affiliates.
