Job Title – Associate Director/Lead, International HTA Strategy, NeuroscienceLocation – Hybrid (Marlow/Remote - will confirm if any on-site presence is needed, but manager is based in Europe)Contract Length – 12 monthsRate: Looking at £ per day (based on experience)Key responsibilitiesDevelop HTA insights collaborating with key affiliates to understand Access Evidence requirements for specific diseases and assetsSupport early affiliate engagement (Early Touchpoint process) on behalf of IMAP (International Market Access and Pricing) to help inform (registrational) clinical develop programsConsult HTA recommendation databases, develop HTA /payer engagement plans and gather insights from early scientific advice from HTA agencies and other external expertsInternal stakeholders include: IMAP; Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research; Affiliates; Areas; R&D; Commercial; Medical and Regulatory; Governance bodiesSupport the development of global Payer evidence deliverables, working in close collaboration with global colleagues and external vendorsSupport to areas/affiliates on local HTA submissions by providing strategic guidance and coordinating across evidence generation functions at global level (Medical Affairs, HEOR and Clinical Development) to answer questions from HTA agenciesQualifications and ExperienceThe candidate must have at least 5 years of experience preferably in a variety of international market access/HTA related areas (including market access, managed care marketing, health economics, HTA, clinical development, biostatistics, or Medical Affairs)Bachelor's degree with a preference for candidates with an advanced degree in health economics, life sciences, health service, or related discipline (MSc, PhD)An understanding of pricing and reimbursement processes for at least one key HTA marketUnderstanding of health economic and evidence synthesis conceptsExperience working within Neuroscience, Eye Care and/or Specialty therapy areas is a plusSkilled in developing strategy to secure positive recommendations from influential HTA bodiesExperience of developing reimbursement submissionsExperience and strong ability in working collaboratively across matrix functionsStrong project management capability with adherence to strict timelinesSkilled in translating complex concepts into simple languageExperience of identifying and addressing evidence gaps relevant to demonstrating CE.Key BehavioursInspires and motivates others toward a shared purposeInfluences colleagues to achieve cross-functional alignmentDeals comfortably with risk and ambiguity, changing course when needed.Makes timely, high-quality decisions with less than perfect information.Sets clear strategies and robust implementation plans.Has ability to understand complex problems and translate into simple ideas and solutionsActs respectfully yet courageously; says what needs to be saidCommunicates openly and honestly with all colleaguesConnects unrelated concepts, generates original or unique ideasPersistent and resilient —finds the way to move good ideas forward
