The Coffee Cup is a small, family-run cafe in Glasgow. We are known for our homemade cakes, hearty breakfasts and warm community feel.

We are looking for a hands on cafe supervisor to help manage daily shifts and keep things running smoothly. You'll work closely with the owners and team to make sure every customer receives a warm welcome and great service.

This is a working supervisor role ; you'll be involved in serving customers, preparing food and drinks, baking and keeping the cafe running day to day with added responsibility for overseeing shifts and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the cafe including cashing up
  • Lead by example during busy shifts
  • Prepare and serve food to cafe standards including light cooking and baking
  • Support and motivate staff to deliver friendly efficient service
  • Maintain cafe standards for cleanliness and presentation
  • Help manage stock levels and communicate needs to management

What we are looking for :

  • Previous supervisory experience in a cafe, coffee shop or hospitality setting
  • Confident with food preparation and home-style baking
  • Friendly, reliable and comfortable leading a small team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment

What we offer:
