About Us:

Cafe Zest is dedicated to providing an exceptional culinary experience and are seeking a passionate Supervisor with previous hospitality experience to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Supervisor at Cafe Zest, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our café. You'll lead by example, delivering outstanding service while supervising a team of dedicated staff. This position is for 35 hours with weekend availability, offering the opportunity to be part of a vibrant culinary venture without late-night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.

  • Provide guidance and support to café staff, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, highlighting your barista skills.

  • Uphold the high standards of service and quality synonymous with Cafe Botanico and the Massarella Catering Group.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years hospitality experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required, with no late-night openings on site.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and a genuine love for food, coffee, and hospitality.
