About The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Cash Processor to join the fast-paced treasury team team who will contribute to the company's financial performance through timely processing of branch banking, payments and account reconciliations.
Main Duties Include
- Reconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for a large number of branches across the Group in a timely and efficient manner, working with Aurum (bank reconciliation software) and standard Excel Reports.
- Identifying and dealing with any banking discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, with branch management team.
- Support the monitoring of the Cash Posting Log, posting nominal ledger transactions and liaison with Sales & Purchase Ledger colleagues to ensure daily posting of transactions to accounting system (MAM).
- Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts and support the Group Bank Reconciliation process for the whole Group as required.
- Working with and supporting branch colleagues to ensure compliance with Treasury procedure and policy.
- Assist with the maintenance of branch PDQ machines.
- Raise adhoc payments using AccessPay / Barclay iPortal.
- Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post.
40 hours per week working Monday to Friday

What you'll need to succeed:
- Finance administration experience within MS Excel
- Work accurately and efficiently with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Experience in MAM, SAGE, SAP, SUN
- Ideally experience in till management and banking processes
