EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have a brand-new team in Waste Network Operations, and it's called the
Customer Flooding Performance Team,
and we are looking for someone to lead it as a
Team Manager

This team has been built to take ownership of the customer flooding challenge. Making a centralised team to do this should ensure the handling of internal or external flooding issues is swift, coordinated and as positive as possible.

This Team Manager role is covering our whole patch so the location of the role is flexible between: Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire but you would be expected to travel to different counties across our region to see and support your team.

You'll work with 9 direct technical expert reports,
who will be heading up each country of ours. Your other key stakeholders will be the
Reactive Sewer Service County teams
, and our Waste
Environment teams
. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us
37 hours a week.
WHAT WE'ER LOOKING FOR

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technical experts, or a proven enthusiasm for this move, bringing a wealth of knowledge with you.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Understanding of wastewater networks and flooding issues.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with reactive sewer services and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple counties and teams.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and managing sensitive customer issues.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and respond quickly to urgent challenges.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to travel across multiple counties as required.
