Performance Marketing Manager

Magnetize is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager (PPC & Paid Social) to own paid media strategy for ambitious service brands in healthcare, financial services and home care. You'll turn ad spend into real commercial outcomes – qualified leads, meetings and revenue – by combining sharp commercial thinking with hands‑on platform expertise. What you'll do
- Own and lead a portfolio of client accounts, taking full responsibility for strategy, delivery, reporting and commercial outcomes.
- Develop integrated PPC and paid social strategies that align tightly with each client's business model, margins, capacity and growth objectives.
- Translate real business data (CRM, call tracking, lifecycle stages) into campaign structures, bidding strategies and optimisation plans.
- Oversee campaign implementation, optimisation and testing across channels, ensuring every pound spent contributes to measurable impact (qualified leads, meetings, revenue).
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating data into clear recommendations and challenging thinking where needed to unlock growth.
- Use advanced platform features (e.g. tROAS, Performance Max, Demand Gen and paid social optimisation) informed by downstream data, not just on‑platform metrics.
- Run a structured testing roadmap across ads, audiences and landing pages to continually improve conversion rates and commercial efficiency.
- Collaborate with platform partners (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to leverage betas and emerging opportunities relevant to service‑led businesses.
- Contribute to Magnetize's thought leadership through case studies, webinars and internal knowledge‑sharing focused on performance marketing for services.
- Help refine Magnetize's delivery processes, reporting standards and experimentation frameworks as an early team member in a fast‑growing agency.

What we're looking for
- 3–5+ years' hands‑on experience managing PPC and/or paid social campaigns.
- Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes such as qualified leads, enquiries, bookings or revenue, not just vanity metrics.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to quickly understand different business models, pricing structures and sales cycles and reflect these in media strategy.
- Confidence in client relationship management: able to present, persuade and problem‑solve with senior stakeholders and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data, spot trends and turn insight into clear, prioritised actions.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics 4, plus solid skills in Excel or Google Sheets and presentation tools.
- A growth mindset and genuine passion for performance marketing, testing and continuous improvement, including an interest in how AI and automation can enhance performance.
- Natural curiosity, a proactive approach and a positive attitude towards change in a fast‑moving environment.
Location, working pattern and salary
- Remote‑first role; you must be based in the UK.
- Monthly or bi‑monthly in‑person team meet‑ups, plus attendance at key client meetings where face‑to‑face time will strengthen relationships and outcomes.
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, with clear progression opportunities as Magnetize continues to grow.
