Digital Marketing Manager – SEO

**This is a 8 month Fixed Term Contract role and can be based at either our Staines Upon Thames or Bristol offices**
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Digital Marketing Manager – SEO & Content will join the ESI Digital Demand team at an exciting time to own and manage the organic search and associated content strategy. Responsible for growing search share of voice and commercially relevant traffic, you'll combine deep analytics and technical SEO with compelling content that attracts, educates and converts.
You'll join a high-performing and expanding team of digital experts who have consistently driven impressive year-on-year growth and will be a fundamental player in the ambitious growth plans for an already successful global organisation.
This role reports to the Director of Digital Demand but will work very closely with the wider digital team, particularly the segment focused Digital Marketing Managers, regional and local marketing teams, search engine marketing agency partners and the wider content and copywriting teams.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own the international SEO strategy for established, growth and emerging markets to increase commercially relevant traffic and conversions on ADP websites
• Work with internal and agency stakeholders to grow the visibility of ADP websites/propositions in search engine results.
• Work with the wider digital marketing team to establish a best-in-class search strategy in response to generative AI, ensuring we capitalise on the role out of Google's AIO, ChatGPT etc.
• Own the identification and work with agency partners, the ESI, and the global web team to remediate any technical SEO improvements.
• Own the SEO content strategy and work with the digital copywriter and agency resource to create compelling search engine friendly content that converts.
• Work with local marketing teams and international search agency(s) to develop a genuinely local strategy for SEO and content creation and local amplification
• Work with internal PR to deliver digital outreach campaigns focused on backlinking and improving domain authority
• Monitor and report on key organic search performance metrics. And respond to successes or performance declines with clear plans and actions to remedy them.
• Support local product marketers to enhance our on-site propositional content while ensuring it's delivering SEO value
• Leveraging tools, technology and agency expertise, identify SEO gaps and opportunities to grow the visibility in-market against ADP competitors.
• Work within our global web estate team to manage SEO & technical web projects from strategy, execution and reporting.
• Work with the wider ESI marketing team to advise and execute on local and global campaigns where necessary.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Use/Build/Development of digital analytics and reporting platforms to measure success and performance of SEO actions.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years' managing B2B SEO strategy/implementation and content ideation processes.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a successful international SEO strategy that has driven increased visibility, traffic and conversion
- Demonstrable experience of ideating and developing content for SEO and beyond
- Working with paid media and web teams on a joined-up approach to search marketing that dominates the SERPS and drives market visibility
- SEO agency and copywriting resource management, including leading project calls and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Strongly analytical, with a focus on the numbers and the detail
- Strong working knowledge of digital marketing reporting platforms (Google Analytics/GA4, Data Studio, SEMRush, Search Console etc)
- Solid understanding of the principles of technical SEO and more importantly working with key stakeholders on resolution
- Ability to review/edit and work with stakeholders to develop compelling copy
- Solid understanding of broader digital demand generation channels and their relevance/importance to the overall search strategy.
- Naturally inquisitive and always asking 'so what?' to deliver the best possible outcome
- Experience and knowledge of digital marketing attribution and testing frameworks advantageous
- Knowledge or experience working as part of agile teams or running agile projects would be an advantage but not required
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and driving meaningful results
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to negotiate and influence senior stakeholders inside and outside of the company (e.g. vendor and agency negotiations & management)
- Knowledge of the HCM/HR/Payroll market would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Self-motivating and driven to make an impact

- The language of ADP is English
- Excellent technical, oral, and written communication skills required.

- Effectively plans, coordinates and prioritises work efforts of multiple groups
- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining the big picture of the overall system design
- Problem Analysis/Resolution - Gathers information on issues to construct options and either make decisions or recommends options to Sr. Mgmt., as appropriate
- Anticipates, identifies, and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Assigns tasks to appropriate cross functional resources but most importantly owns the follow-up
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas
- Results oriented, proactive and spirit of initiative.
