Moo Lab S80 Ltd is a UK-based dessert takeaway shop established in Worksop. We are embarking on an exciting phase of business transformation and expansion. Our aim is to evolve into a diverse brand that harmoniously blends British desserts with Asian elements.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth, identify new opportunities, strengthen our brand presence, and ensure that our dessert business continues stable and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & B2B Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels.
  • Establish and maintain strong B2B and B2C relationships with clients, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue growth targets (KPI-driven).

2. Product and Business Expansion

  • Plan and launch new product lines, focusing on Asian-style food and items.
  • Collaborate with Asian suppliers to import specialty products and promote them in the UK market.

3. Online Store & Digital Marketing

  • Oversee online store operations and implement effective digital marketing strategies (social media, email campaigns, etc.).
  • Drive brand awareness online to reach new markets.

4. Market Research & Brand Strategy

  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights to support product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Apply negotiation and business analysis skills to strengthen market competitiveness.

5. Cost Management & Supply Chain Optimization

  • Identify cost-effective suppliers and equipment to reduce operational expenses, and optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency across food, retail, and logistics operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development or marketing (preferably in F&B or the UK dessert sector).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships (B2B and B2C), deal negotiation, and driving sales growth.
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets by conducting market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Digital marketing experience, including social media and managing online sales platforms.
  • Experience in working with international suppliers, particularly from Asia, while optimizing supply chain processes and controlling costs
  • Experience in store expansion or launching new business areas is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven knowledge in UK desserts, Asian foods culture or related market trends
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office, and AI tools.
