Overview

We are seeking a skilled plumbers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, and installation. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and practical skills to ensure that plumbing systems function efficiently and effectively in commercial settings.

Site Location - Hinckley, near M69. Start Dec 25 / Jan 26. Job duration- 8 months.

Duties

  • Install plumbing systems using jointing techniques such as copper mapress/soldering, brazing and terrain plastic.
  • Assemble and install copper and terrain drainage for wc blocks, water heaters, heating & chilled and sanitaryware.
  • Copper installation from 15mm to 108mm
  • Terrain plastic installation from 32mm to 110mm
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
  • Perform lifting as necessary to move materials and equipment.
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in various tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
  • A valid plumbing qualification or certification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates. CSCS card and IPAF is required.
