About Us
At Merisons, we take pride in delivering high-quality building maintenance and refurbishment works across the Midlands. We're known for our reliability, craftsmanship, and down-to-earth team culture — and we're looking for a skilled Plumber to join us as we continue to grow.
About the Role
You'll be carrying out a wide variety of plumbing works across our commercial contracts (with some domestic and industrial jobs too).
No two days are the same — one day you might be replacing sanitaryware in an office, the next carrying out fault-finding in a housing scheme.
A company vehicle is provided for work travel, and you'll have the support of our in-house multi-trade team and office staff who keep jobs flowing smoothly.
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who's:
- Experienced (minimum 3 years preferred) and confident in all aspects of plumbing
- Organised, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing a job properly
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Honest, reliable, and proactive with great communication skills
- Familiar with current Health & Safety standards and site procedures
- Able to record job details electronically (we use a simple mobile app)
Requirements:
- CSCS qualification (essential)
- Clean driving licence (essential)
- Own tools (some company kit provided)
- Asbestos awareness certificate (advantageous)
- Relevant trade qualification or at least 5 years' experience in the building trade
The Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (approx. 8-hour day, occasional flexibility)
- Location: Across the Midlands
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Contract options also available)
