We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer to join our growing team, working across both commercial and domestic environments. This role is ideal for an experienced individual confident in fault finding, repairs, and carrying out remedial works to a high standard. The successful candidate will be Gas Safe registered, capable of working independently, and comfortable engaging with clients on-site. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a committed engineer to contribute to our service delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain a range of commercial and domestic gas appliances.
- Conduct thorough fault-finding diagnostics and identify effective solutions.
- Carry out remedial works promptly, safely, and to regulatory standards.
- Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate job records, service sheets, and documentation.
- Liaise with clients professionally, providing clear updates and recommendations.
- Travel to various locations using own vehicle to attend scheduled and reactive jobs.
- Support the wider team by communicating job progress and any follow-up requirements.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicle are kept in good working order.
Experience
- Must be Gas Safe registered (essential).
- Basic or Enhanced DBS (desirable).
- Proven experience working on both domestic and commercial gas systems.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload, and maintain high workmanship standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Reliable, professional, and capable of representing the company positively on-site.
