About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a structured and methodical way? We are looking for a Payroll & Banking Customer Care Administrator to join our team in Worthing, West Sussex.
In this role, you will support customers who employ personal assistants using Direct Payments by managing payroll and banking tasks. As the first point of contact, you will provide guidance, process payroll, reconcile bank accounts, and handle banking queries. Your role will be essential in ensuring customers receive accurate and timely support with their payroll needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, answering payroll and banking enquiries.
- Support customers in submitting hours worked and understanding payroll processes.
- Process payroll, including generating payslips and handling HMRC/pension requirements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, monitor balances, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process final payments for customers exiting the service, liaising with finance teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and maintain accurate payroll records.
About You
- We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous payroll experience (BrightPay or similar software is desirable).
- Is confident with administrative tasks and working with financial data.
- Possesses excellent numerical and communication skills.
- Can handle a busy workload while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Is a strong team player who can adapt and support colleagues.
- Is committed to promoting an inclusive and customer-focused service.
