External Events Manager – Haematology (12 Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract)

In this role you will
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver national webinars and healthcare professional events, fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive congress and event plan, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
- Support field-based teams in delivering local HCPE activities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual events.
- Create engaging and educational content by leveraging internal and external expertise to deliver industry-leading events.
- Enhance customer experience by optimizing the end-to-end event journey, from invitation to post-event follow-up, while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ensure all event activities comply with governance frameworks, including ABPI code and internal policies, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Experience working in commercial teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in delivering healthcare professional meetings and events (virtual and face-to-face).
- Proven experience to develop and execute impactful content within an omnichannel plan.
- Familiarity with the ABPI code and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and organizational skills.
- Proven to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing and complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
- Experience working cross-functionally with medical and sales teams to ensure activity alignment.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Oncology experience or knowledge of haematology.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
