Why This Role Matters

As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the heart of daily service delivery. You'll shape the performance of your teams, build strong client relationships, safeguard contract quality and profitability, and help drive improvements across the business.

This is a role for someone who loves balancing operational leadership with hands-on problem solving and client excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

· Managing a portfolio of Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping contracts

· Planning, programming and coordinating teams, equipment, and scheduling

· Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients

· Leading site audits, quality checks and safety compliance

· Protecting commercial performance, margins and variations

· Supporting and developing Team Leaders and field staff

· Producing accurate contract performance and monthly reports

· Working closely with our Senior Operations Manager and admin teams to keep operations flowing smoothly

· Experience managing operational contracts (grounds, landscaping, construction or service sector)

· Strong horticultural or grounds knowledge

· Solid commercial awareness — understanding costs, margins, and efficiency

· A proactive approach to problem-solving and planning

· A leadership style that builds trust, clarity and accountability

· Confidence with digital and reporting systems

· A commitment to high standards, safety, and continuous improvement
