About The Role
Business Skills Support Advisor
The Business Skills Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting Warwickshire County Council to increase and further develop their employment and skills support for Warwickshire businesses.
The role of Business Skills Advisor is to work extensively with local businesses and develop skills plans which are reflective of the business's growth ambitions. The team work holistically to support the business to engage in locally funded support programmes and attract the right talent to bring their growth aspirations alive.
The toolkit of support the team have to offer businesses is extensive, yet highly valued and successful in driving economic growth.
The role is a high impacting one which makes a measurable difference to those it supports, we therefor invite candidates with a good level of experience, local knowledge of the skills offer, and highly motived to support the business community.
Key Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced skills advisor with 2 years or more business skills experience, ideally with a future skills focus. The candidate must have a broad understanding of local and national skills initiatives, with previous experience of working with businesses to address local skills needs at a strategic level. It is essential to have a good track record of delivering outputs.
