We currently have a permanent full-time Contact Officer vacancy supporting the Hospital Social Work Teams.

The role covers all areas North, South and East, and the post can be located either within the Council Offices in Front Street, Chester le Street, or within Spectrum 8, Seaham plus hybrid working.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

The post will support the Hospital Social Work Teams, working within a team of professional staff who are committed to quality service provision and innovation.

You will undertake business support activities within the Hospital Social Work service providing support to the team in meeting client and customer requirements, in line with organisational standards and procedures.

You will be required to have regular contact with hospital staff, Care Service providers, other professionals, and members of the public.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

This is a busy but interesting role; applicants must be able to work under pressure and be able to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and timescales.

You should hold a BTEC Higher in Public Administration or NVQ4 in Business Administration or relevant equivalent and have experience in an administrative/financial setting together with excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.
