In our Facilities Officer role, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and functional work environment whilst contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations.

Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Rushden or Milton Keynes office

Salary: Up to £35,800 per year

Contract: Permanent

Your week: 36.25 hours p/week (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.15pm with a 1-hour break)

Snapshot of your role

This is what your day will look like as our Facilities Officer:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs for the facility, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and reporting non-compliance to the Health &Safety team where required.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports related to facility operations.

Your toolkit for success

To thrive in our Facilities Officer role, you'll need:

  • Minimum of four GCSE's or the equivalent at grades A-C.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in facilities, building management, or property maintenance, across commercial office environments.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
