The Role
This role is the point person for the optimisation of workflows and adoption of new technology across the Studio Department. It requires deep technical understanding, creative problem solving skills, thorough production workflow knowledge and an ability to educate and engage other teams on how to improve their processes.

This role liaises with multiple teams and departments including Post Production, QC, Localisation, Operations, Production, Creative, Brand and Distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a wide and deep repository of knowledge, a thirst to learn more and an ability to apply new solutions and tech in a creative and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
Workflow & Pipeline Orchestration
Streamline and optimise end-to-end content workflows across animation and live action. Standardise processes for production, post-production, localisation, QC, and distribution to multi-platform audiences. Implement structured pipelines for multi-territory, multi-language, and multi-platform deliverables.

AI Integration
Identify, test, and scale AI/ML tools for content creation, QC, metadata enrichment, captioning, localisation, personalisation, traffic scheduling, and content discovery.

Cloud Infrastructure Management
Collaborate with IT/DevOps to ensure scalable storage, rendering, archiving, and distribution workflows. Maintain and optimise hybrid cloud/on-prem media pipelines. Oversee API integrations, metadata schemas, and tool interoperability across platforms.

Vendor & Partner Integration
Onboard, manage, and evaluate external vendors, including animation studios, QC facilities, dubbing/localisation vendors, AI vendors, and cloud partners. Standardise vendor workflows and ensure compliance with delivery requirements and metadata standards.

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Define and monitor KPIs for workflow efficiency, AI adoption, content quality, and vendor performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.

Ideal Background And Experience
Candidates for this role must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical operations, post-production, or media distribution. Experience working with cloud-based media workflows and AI-assisted tools is highly desirable, as is familiarity with international content delivery, encompassing various languages, territories, and platforms.

Essential Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of production workflows across animation and live action
  • Thorough knowledge of media production tools, ideally including Adobe Cloud, Pro Tools and Da Vinci Resolve
  • Experience of applying new and emerging software and hardware to existing production processes
  • Problem-solving, deadline management, cross-functional coordination, proactive risk flagging
  • Stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and contract adherence
  • Policy enforcement, quality assurance, attention to detail, rigorous methodology
  • Strategic planning, innovation adoption, and long-term vision
