Culinary Connect is seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a modern British restaurant in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who takes pride in showcasing the best of British produce through innovative, seasonal menus.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for every aspect of the kitchen — from developing dynamic, ingredient-led dishes to mentoring a talented team and maintaining exceptional standards of quality and consistency. You'll have the freedom to put your own stamp on the menu, celebrating local suppliers and modern British flavours with flair and precision.

This role suits a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills and a genuine commitment to building a long-term future within a respected and forward-thinking restaurant.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a modern British or contemporary restaurant
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, kitchen management, and health & safety standards
  • Commitment to a long-term role and continuous improvement
