Richard George is a British tailoring house built on craft, comfort and long term relationships. From our showrooms in Warwickshire and London, we work closely with clients to create wardrobes that fit beautifully and feel effortless in every setting.

Our London showroom, located within The Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, is the home of this role.

The opportunity

We are looking for a full time showroom and client development professional to grow our London business.

This is a sales focused role in a luxury environment. You will host clients in the showroom, nurture long term relationships and actively develop new business, with full support and training in our approach to tailoring.

Experience in tailored clothing is an advantage, but not essential. We are open to candidates from luxury retail or high level hospitality who have a genuine interest in menswear and style.

What you will do

  • Welcome and host clients in the London showroom, ensuring every visit feels calm, considered and personal.
  • Guide clients through cloth, styling and fitting options, with training from our tailoring team.
  • Develop new business by following up enquiries, building local networks and identifying opportunities within The Landmark Hotel and beyond.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients, checking in on commissions, suggesting new pieces and planning ahead for events or seasons.
  • Partner with our cutters and tailors to ensure each commission suits the client's wardrobe, lifestyle and taste.
  • Represent the brand at showroom events and off-site occasions when required.
  • Work towards clear revenue and client growth targets, and share feedback on what you are seeing in the market and within the hotel.

Who you are

  • You have experience in
    luxury retail, private client services or high end hospitality
    .
  • You are confident selling in a consultative way and comfortable being measured on sales performance.
  • You enjoy meeting people, listen well and build trust over time. Clients remember you and ask for you by name.
  • You have a strong personal interest in menswear, tailoring or design, and take pride in your own presentation.
  • You are organised, reliable and happy to manage your own diary and follow ups.
  • You are able to work in person at The Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, including Saturdays, with a weekday off in lieu.
  • Tailoring or made to measure experience is preferable but can be taught for the right person.
