Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Showroom Manager to lead our London showroom operations. This role blends sales, design, and operational management, offering a unique opportunity for someone who is both commercially astute and design-focused.

You'll act as the face of All Square Lighting in the showroom — managing client relationships, overseeing presentations, and supporting the specification and sale of lighting products for high-end projects. The role will also include meeting with existing and new suppliers, strengthening partnerships and keeping up to date with the latest innovations and product developments in the lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the London showroom, ensuring a consistently high level of presentation and professionalism.
  • Welcome and engage with clients — including architects, interior designers, and homeowners — providing expert lighting advice.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, and specifications in collaboration with the design and technical teams.
  • Meet regularly with existing and new suppliers to maintain strong relationships and stay current with new product launches and technologies.
  • Coordinate with the Managing Director and suppliers to ensure smooth project and product delivery.
  • Plan and support showroom-based events, such as launches, design evenings, and CPD sessions.
  • Oversee samples, and display management, ensuring all product areas are up to date and visually inspiring.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming showroom environment at all times.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the lighting industry, ideally in a sales or specification role.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and decorative lighting — both technically and aesthetically.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organisational skills to keep the showroom presentable and efficient.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
