Overview

Bean & Grape is a vibrant, new Cafe-Wine Bar in Glengormley. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while managing the front of house operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food service. You will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

This is a part-time role, but with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front of house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train staff accordingly.
  • Manage team dynamics, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
  • Maintain inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong background in beverages, coffees, cocktails, wine, customer service is advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in team management with the ability to lead by example.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production.
  • Experience as a barista or within hotel settings would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
