Senior Events Marketing Manager

Up to £500 a day umbrella rate
Key Responsibilities
● Event Management: Lead the end-to-end planning, strategy, execution, and
reporting of key calendar events, ensuring exceptional delivery.
● Budget Oversight: Effectively manage large project budgets and maintain cost
efficiency while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong cross-functional relationships with teams
across seniority levels and regions, including Sales teams, Product Marketing, Design
teams, Customer Success, Finance, and others.
● Campaign Delivery: Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing
campaigns, including to oversee the full leads funnel and audience acquisition
process.
● Data-Driven Optimisation: Leverage data, KPIs, and customer insights to continually
optimise campaigns and events, and measure success.
● Agency Oversight: Manage multiple external agency partners to execute high calibre
creative deliverables.
● Storytelling & Communication: Craft compelling narratives for event messaging and
presentations to inspire teams, and engage diverse audiences.
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or
significant relevant industry experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
●
8+ years experience working in events and/or marketing
● Proven track record of delivering large-scale, premium events with measurable
success.
● Strong organisational, time management, and project management abilities to juggle
complex, fast-moving initiatives.
● Excellent leadership skills and experience in motivating teams and managing senior
stakeholders across different regions.
● Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to deliver clear and
engaging presentations.
● Deep understanding of multi-channel campaign management, lead generation, and
audience acquisition (end-to-end process).
● Results-oriented mindset, with proficiency in leveraging data insights to drive
performance.
● Highly experienced in collaborating with and managing external agency partners, and
working successfully across multiple internal teams.
● Proficient in digital and emerging tools, including AI applications, to enhance
workflows and outcomes.
Beneficial Experience
● Background in marketing and content development, or experience in GTM, field
marketing, customer or lifecycle marketing, or campaign management.
● SaaS experience, particularly in B2B and B2C environments.
● Experience in managing international campaigns and events is a plus.
● Flexibility to travel and attend events out of standard work hours, as required.
Education
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or
significant relevant industry experience
