Front of House Supervisor

37.5 hours per week, various shifts between 6:30am-6:30pm, with alternate weekends.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our award winning team at St. Johns House care home as a Front of House Supervisor.

As the Front of House Supervisor, you will provide an outstanding service to our residents, families, and guests within the restaurant area. You will be leading and developing your team and setting standards.

Working 37.5hours per week and offering flexible and sociable working hours to support your work life balance. If you have a flair for hospitality, have high standards and are used to managing a team, this could be the ideal role for you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing an outstanding food and drink service to our residents, families and guests.
  • Ensure the set-up and clearing of the dining areas are undertaken after every meal.
  • To ensure allocated budgets are maintained and home expenditure is accurately receipted and recorded.
  • To manage staff rotas ensuring that the front of house team is always fully staffed.
  • Maintain the highest level of service in all areas.
  • To provide training as required and within all aspects of the work to give a high profile to staff motivation, clarity of expectation and team development.
  • Be aware of and at all times comply with all company rules, policies and procedures, including statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Care Standards Act and the relevant Regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
