Summary

"We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Supervisor to join our team at Scarborough Hill Country Inn in Scarborough. This role is pivotal in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and contributes significantly to our mission of providing memorable experiences. You will lead our front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors."

Responsibilities

" Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

  • Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of service.
  • Manage reservations and coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service delivery.
  • Able to run a smooth Resturant shift overseeing the bar and looking after a Resturant section
  • Basic bar knowledge required
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement in service quality."

" Proven supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is essential.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
