Orsett Hall Spa is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Spa Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role based on 40 hours per week, with flexibility required to work across 7 days, including weekends.

About the Role

As Assistant Spa Manager, you will support the Spa Manager in ensuring the smooth, professional, and efficient operation of the spa. You will help lead the team, maintain exceptional service standards, and contribute to achieving commercial targets. This hands-on role requires strong organisational ability, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The role also involves carrying out treatments and covering therapist columns when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of the spa, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Assist in leading, motivating, and developing the spa team.
  • Maintain high standards of guest care and service delivery.
  • Deliver treatments and manage a therapist column when needed.
  • Oversee treatment scheduling, therapist coordination, and facility presentation.
  • Support stock management, ordering, and product control.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through service performance, retail optimisation, and guest engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in staff training, performance monitoring, and operational reporting.

About You

  • Previous experience in a spa, wellness, or hospitality leadership role.
  • Ideally ELEMIS-trained, with the ability to perform a wide range of treatments.
  • Strong customer service skills with a guest-first approach.
  • Confident in supporting a team and leading by example.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware.
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
  • Professional, well-presented, and passionate about wellness.
