About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Document Control & LTQR Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic steelwork manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, traceability, and completeness of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) for structural steel projects, supporting both internal quality processes and client handover requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain document control systems for project and quality documentation.
  • Compile, review, and issue LTQRs in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Liaise with production, quality, and project teams to ensure timely collection of required records (e.g., weld logs, inspection reports, material certs).
  • Ensure version control and proper archiving of all documentation.
  • Support audits and client inspections by preparing and presenting relevant documentation.
  • Develop and improve document control procedures and templates.
  • Train and support team members in document control best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in document control, ideally within steel fabrication or construction.
  • Familiarity with LTQRs, quality documentation, and compliance standards (e.g., EN 1090, ISO 9001).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience with welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, weld logs).
  • Knowledge of CE marking and structural steel compliance.
  • Understanding of fabrication workflows and inspection hold points.

Mon-Fri 8.00am 4.30pm , including ½ hr lunch break.
