- Review, verify, and process employee expense claims in line with company policies, ensuring receipts, coding, and approvals are in place.
- Respond to supplier and employee queries promptly and professionally, resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update supplier and employee records, including bank details and tax information, with a focus on accuracy and fraud prevention.
- Support month-end close activities such as accruals, account reconciliations, and reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement and work with the wider finance team to implement more efficient workflows.
- Ensure all AP processes comply with internal controls, VAT regulations, and audit requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- 3–5+ years of experience in an accounts payable role with exposure to high-volume processing.
- Solid understanding of AP principles, VAT treatment, and expense claim processes.
- Proficient in finance/ERP systems. Experience of Netsuite is an advantage.
- Experience with employee expense management systems (e.g. Concur, Expensify) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and organised approach to workload.
- Able to investigate and resolve issues independently and confidently communicate with stakeholders.
- A team player who can manage responsibilities autonomously within a part-time schedule.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a multi-entity or international business
- Exposure to finance transformation or automation projects
What We Offer:
- Flexible part-time working hours (20–25 hours per week)
- A competitive salary, pension scheme and an opportunity to join an excellent medical scheme.
- Supportive team environment with opportunities to contribute to improvement projects
- Competitive salary (pro-rata) and benefits package
