This major European IP law firm have an excellent opportunity for a further IP / Patent Litigation Associate to join their thriving and top-level Dispute Resolution practice in London. Their highly rated team of lawyers and patent attorneys assists clients with complex and high-value patent and SPC disputes, usually involving multi-jurisdictional litigation between major science and technology companies. Their leading practice covers a broad range of disciplines spanning the areas of Biotech / Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Engineering and Technology, while also handling some "soft IP" work, primarily relating to trade mark and design disputes (often alongside a patent-related matter) and IP regulatory work. They are interested to hear from IP Litigators who are interested to join at an exciting time of growth for the firm. To succeed in this role, you'll need to enjoy thinking strategically and working collaboratively, and be passionate about using your technical excellence to deliver a first-class service to clients. You should ideally have (i) an excellent academic background, including a STEM degree, and the ability to demonstrate a high level of intellectual rigour; (ii) experience in IP and predominantly patent litigation, ideally with exposure to the Life Sciences, Pharma and/or Technology sectors; (iii) intellectual curiosity, with an interest and passion for technology and its intersection with the law; and (iv) excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels. European language skills, while not mandatory, would also be welcomed.
