Lazy Jacks is a vibrant waterfront restaurant and bar in the heart of Sandbanks, known for its relaxed coastal vibe, high-quality food, and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our talented kitchen team.

The Role

As an Experienced Chef at Lazy Jacks, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding dishes that reflect our seaside setting and seasonal ingredients. You'll work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high culinary standards, ensure consistency, and contribute creative ideas to our evolving menu.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Assist in developing new menu items and daily specials
  • Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, safety, and health regulations
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering and waste control
  • Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or similar environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A calm, positive attitude under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
