This is a pivotal opportunity to join the Senior Management Team of a
National Sports Governing Body
with a history of
significant Olympic and Paralympic success
. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, driving operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of business governance.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall management of the organisation's operations, providing oversight to key business functions, and line managing the IT team. You will play a central role in driving innovation and operational efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of robust operational and HR policies and procedures aligned with strategic goals and legal obligations.
  • Oversee internal processes and performance frameworks to ensure efficiency and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management systems.
  • Coordinate office facilities, IT systems, and manage critical supplier relationships to support evolving organisational needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety, data protection, cyber security, and risk management.
  • Champion effective communication and collaboration across all internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology and process improvements.
