offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced materials, supporting global industries with cutting-edge, sustainable technologies within the hydrogen economy

What You'll Do

  • Lead customer-focused new product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions aligned with end-use requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on process optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage laboratory and pilot line activities, ensuring robust scale-up and quality standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, becoming a technical advisor in your field.
  • Apply Six Sigma and practical problem-solving principles to design and trial new products.
  • Support strategic initiatives including export control, IP management, and chemical safety compliance.
  • Carry out structured, repetitive practical processes requiring a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Travel on occasion to customers and trade shows as required

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • A degree or higher in Chemistry
  • Experience in a technical role, ideally within materials science or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Design for Six Sigma qualification.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management training.
  • Advanced data analysis skills including DOE and process capability assessment.
