What the Role Involves
As a Home Care Assistant, you'll become a trusted part of your clients' daily lives—offering both practical and emotional support. Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Helping with personal care and morning routines
- Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks
- Supporting with medication reminders and wellbeing checks
- Offering companionship and reassurance throughout the day
Every client is unique, and your care will reflect that — providing comfort, encouragement, and a friendly face that truly brightens their day.
Position Details
- Full-time role: 35–40 hours per week
- Shift options include mornings, afternoons, and evenings
- Some weekend shifts are part of the schedule
What You'll Need
- A warm, caring, and trustworthy approach
- A valid UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Good English communication skills
- No previous care experience required — full training provided
What You'll Receive
- £14.65 per hour, with enhanced weekend rates
- Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile
- Guaranteed hours contracts available
