Evening Care Assistant Needed – Rewarding Weekend Role in Melksham (4–10 PM)

Pay: £15.00 – £22.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

As a Weekend Evening Care Assistant (4pm–10pm), you'll be supporting older adults in their own homes across Melksham. Your role will include:

  • Assisting clients with their evening routines — such as changing into nightwear and preparing for bed
  • Preparing or helping with dinner and light meals
  • Providing reminders or support with evening medication
  • Offering companionship and conversation to brighten the end of the day
  • Helping with light household tasks to ensure comfort overnight
  • Sometimes, simply sharing a friendly chat and reassurance over a cup of tea

Every visit is unique — some clients may need practical assistance, while others simply appreciate a kind and reliable presence as their day winds down.

What You'll Need

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Availability to work weekend evenings, 4pm–10pm (every or alternate weekends)
  • A caring nature, friendly personality, and good spoken English
  • No prior care experience required — full training provided
