Job Purpose
The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Transform Medical Services. This includes leading regional sales initiatives, building a new and scalable area of the business, and implementing processes that support national growth. The successful candidate will take ownership of developing and executing strategic plans that not only strengthen our market presence but also reflect our commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development & Business Expansion
- Lead the growth of a new business area, developing it into a UK-wide service line that aligns with Transform Medical Services' long-term vision.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, using insights and data to guide expansion strategies.
- Implement new procedures, frameworks, and best practices to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
- Continuously analyse market trends, competitor activities, and healthcare developments to anticipate changes and shape innovative service offerings.
- Work closely with senior leadership to set and deliver strategic goals, ensuring business development efforts align with company objectives and values.
Sales Leadership & Performance
- Develop and execute robust regional sales plans to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with hospital managers, surgeons, procurement leads, and clinical stakeholders.
- Deliver professional, ethical, and effective sales approaches that clearly articulate the Transform Medical Services value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, operations, and clinical support—to ensure cohesive and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and support sales representatives, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and high performance.
- Conduct joint field visits to observe and enhance team performance, ensuring consistency in message and service delivery.
Clinical & Surgeon Engagement
- Build trusted and lasting relationships with surgeons and clinical teams to strengthen engagement and partnership.
- Ensure that all team members are confident, informed, and capable of conducting clinical discussions that reinforce Transform Medical Services' credibility and commitment to quality care.
- Act as the key liaison between clinical stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring that feedback is actioned and services are continuously refined to meet clinical needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable success in healthcare sales or related medical services industries.
- Proven experience in business development and strategic market expansion.
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare landscape and NHS/private sector dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex sales processes and long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable with a proactive mindset.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
