Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Regional Project Manager based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with some flexibility to work from home. The Regional Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the transportation and smart city sectors. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, monitoring the quality of deliverables, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. The role also involves expediting processes, conducting inspections, and handling logistics to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination
- Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor tasks to ensure smooth and timely project progression
- Skills in conducting Inspections to verify quality and compliance with project requirements
- Proven competency in Logistics Management for efficient transport and resource allocation
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with the transportation, public spaces, or smart city industries is a plus
- Relevant certifications in Project Management or Logistics are advantageous
- Motivated self starter
- HNC or HND Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- NRSWA advantagous
- CSCS advantagous
- First Aid advantagous
