ABOUT GLENAPP CASTLE
Glenapp Castle is a luxury Relais & Châteaux, Five Red Star hotel set on a 110-acre estate on the Ayrshire coast. The Castle is known for its warm, personal service, its 3 AA Rosette dining, and its distinctive blend of heritage and innovation. Over recent years, Glenapp has expanded significantly while maintaining its commitment to exceptional, thoughtfully curated guest experiences.
The estate features historic gardens dating back 200 years, a beautiful Victorian glasshouse, and a celebrated walled garden that supplies much of the Castle's herbs, vegetables, and flowers. Its remote South West Scotland location gives access to outstanding local producers and dramatic natural landscapes, including the iconic Ailsa Craig.
Recent developments include the creation of The Endeavour Penthouse, a four-bedroom private apartment with butler service and private dining, and the launch of the Azalea Restaurant & Events Space, offering relaxed dining and flexible capacity for up to 100 guests. Glenapp is also home to the innovative Sea Safari experience, a multi-day culinary and wildlife adventure across remote Scottish islands.
Owned by the Truestone Group, a social impact venture capital firm dedicated to building sustainable businesses that pursue not only profitability but also measurable positive outcomes for people, the environment, and the creation of thriving, enduring cultures.
With continued investment and a growing portfolio of experiences, Glenapp Castle has become a unique destination for luxury stays, immersive activities, and memorable events—providing an inspiring environment in which to shape and deliver exceptional celebrations and occasions.
