Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for food safety and preparation. You will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team of front-of-house staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service.
  • Train new employees on hospitality standards, food preparation techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of menus and special promotions to enhance guest experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Experience in food production and preparation is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
