Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff/Barrista to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a lively and welcoming environment. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
  • Take customer orders accurately, providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards, including barista duties if applicable.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the till with accuracy, demonstrating basic maths skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise the flow of customers.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
  • Demonstrate effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently.
  • Must Be availible to work weekends

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is essential.
  • Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Experience in serving customers confidently and professionally.
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £16,072.07-£33,635.03 per year
