Location: Oldham

Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor/ Quality Product Inspector

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 – 16:30

Friday 08:00 – 15:30

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Stock & Quality Assistant to join our warehouse team. This hands-on role will be central to ensuring accurate stock levels, supporting our quality assurance processes, and assisting with general warehouse operations.

You will play a vital part in helping maintain product integrity, supporting compliance with customer and business standards, and contributing to a safe, clean and efficient working environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic who wants to be part of a supportive and growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Accuracy & Control

  • Carry out regular and accurate stock counts and cycle checks
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies
  • Ensure stock is labelled, stored and handled correctly
  • Record and report findings in line with company procedures

Quality Assurance Support

  • Assist with visual inspections of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Report non-conformances and assist with root cause investigations
  • Support QA documentation and labelling processes
  • Follow work instructions and quality standards diligently

General Warehouse Operations

  • Support goods-in and goods-out processes where needed
  • Help maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
  • Follow health & safety procedures and raise concerns where necessary
  • Use warehouse equipment and systems appropriately and safely

  • Willingness to learn QA procedures and support process improvement
  • Basic computer skills for stock/QA recording (training provided)
  • Previous warehouse or QA experience is essential
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25kg is required for this role
