Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Event Manager to work at venues across the south west. The successful candidate will be highly professional with a great work ethic, be able to work within a team and on own initiative, quickly and efficiently, solve problems and have a can do attitude.

You will have a polite and friendly manner and be courteous with good communication skills. Be honest and reliable.

Previous experience in a similar role are preferred

We caterer for nearly 500 events per year so you will be part of a dynamic and exciting team.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are attended to.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on event logistics.
  • Manage budgets effectively while identifying opportunities for upselling services and products.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Oversee on-site event management, ensuring high standards of guest services are maintained throughout.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with experience in both restaurant and events. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The Event Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that all events run smoothly, providing an outstanding experience for guests while also driving revenue through upselling opportunities.
