Job description:

A family of four, recently relocated from the United States to Central London, is seeking a full-time Private Chef to join their household from Monday to Friday . The role involves preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two adults and two children under the age of 10.

The family enjoys healthy, vibrant, and family-style meals with a focus on quality, balance, and minimal food waste. Approximately 90% of the food should follow a gluten-free and dairy-free guideline. However, flexibility is essential , as the children may occasionally require meals outside of these parameters.

The ideal candidate will be autonomous, highly organised, and confident managing a household kitchen independently. A calm, easy-going personality is a must, with the ability to take initiative and adapt to the family's lifestyle needs. The family has an international palate and enjoys global cuisine , reflecting their well-travelled background and previous experience with a private chef in the U.S.

Responsibilities include managing the kitchen space, sourcing the best-quality ingredients, menu planning in line with dietary preferences, and maintaining a clean, well-run environment. While travel is not a core requirement, occasional short-term travel with the family (1 to 2 weeks maximum) may be requested at a later stage.

Both employed and self-employed candidates will be considered.

A trial of 1 to 5 days will be arranged with the family prior to a formal offer.
