The Distribution Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting the distribution (sales) function within the Wealth Management division. This role ensures consistency and alignment of processes, workflows, data, and systems across the distribution network, while supporting integration activities for newly acquired businesses and ongoing operational improvements.
Working closely with the Wealth CEO and Wealth Chief Distribution Officer, senior leadership, and project teams, the Distribution Operations Manager translates strategic objectives into operational reality, enabling seamless execution of critical initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to operate as a true generalist across multiple functions. Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Plan and execute distribution operations initiatives, ensuring alignment and consistency across Wealth Management.
  • Integration Support: Lead operational integration for M&A activities within distribution, translating project outcomes into actionable steps.
  • Process Optimisation: Review and refine existing processes to enhance efficiency and scalability across the distribution network.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, operations teams, and key stakeholders to deliver smooth transitions and operational improvements.
  • Training & Adoption: Host training sessions and deliver presentations to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyse operational data to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Identify, lead, and deliver continuous improvement projects within distribution operations to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance client and adviser experience.
  • Ad hoc projects: Supporting broader Titan wealth team with ad hoc projects.
  • FCA: Adhere to all FCA regulations including consumer duty.

  • Operational Processes: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end operational workflows and best practices.
  • Financial Services Insight: In-depth knowledge of the financial services sector, including distribution and advice models.
  • Systems Proficiency: Advanced skills in Intelligent Office (IO) and solid IT capability across relevant platforms.
  • Business Structures: Clear understanding of organisational structures, roles, and responsibilities within financial services.
  • Technology Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Continuous Improvement: Extensive knowledge and practical application of process improvement methodologies.
  • Change Management: Strong understanding of change management principles and frameworks.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks with foresight and precision.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Thorough awareness of industry regulations and compliance requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Essential:
  • 5+ years' experience in distribution operations or operational integration within financial services.
  • Good standard of education, including Maths and English
  • Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency
