Reinsurance Claims Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced
Claims Technician
to join our
Reinsurance
team at
Guy Carpenter
. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
.
The team supports our client base by providing technical claims handling and broking for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims emanating from the USA.

What can you expect:

• Work with a team of Reinsurance professionals with experience and technical knowledge who will train and develop you
• Gain significant experience of working within a technical capacity for a Broker
• Be part of a global business

We will rely on you to:

• Provide technical claims handing for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims
• Communicate and present information to our Clients in a professional manner
• Collect detailed information on accounting/claims process
• Secure reinsurer agreements & payments of claims and account balances
• Handle the settlement of funds to and from clients
• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and ideas
• Collaborate with the team on claim developments
• Participate in training sessions

What you need to have:

• Previous claims experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills
